Understanding Project Management Concepts - FAQ

Q: What is so unique about this course?
A: The following are the unique features of this course:

Each group will consist of maximum 5 to 6 participants so that each member will get more than adequate attention enabling them to fully grasp all project management concepts.

Often in project management training sessions, a mixed breed of experience is available thus people with lesser work experience often find it difficult to cope with pace of the training session. To avoid this problem, each group in this course will be formed based on the categories (A, B and C) so that each member is comfortable during the course of the training sessions.

Q: I am not interested in PMP, should I take this course?
A: If you are ever going to be involved in projects, this course is for YOU.  Even if you are starting your career, it’s always good to know about the basics of project management.

Q: Based on this course, will I be eligible to claim 35 PDUs as required for PMP certification?
A: As only registered education provider of PMI can award 35 PDUs, so this course will not provide you 35 PDUs as required for PMP certification; however this course can greatly help you prepare for that course.
Generally courses which provide 35 PDUs are for 5 days in duration…. Now imagine, you are covering around 12 chapters in 5 days and then going for PMP exam..? You can use this course for concept development and then use the 35 PDU course for revision thus enhancing your chances of becoming a PMP.
